Sarah Vallance recently presented at the Australian Lawyers Alliance Medical Law Conference 2025, held in Brisbane. Alongside Dr Cameron Cooke; Orthopaedic Surgeon, they addressed issues of wound breakdown, infection and appropriate methods of management.
They were in good company with eminent medical specialists in the fields of haematology, obesity management, cerebral aneurysms and dermatology and lawyers addressing GP follow up, intentional torts in healthcare, and how to lead evidence from a non-communicative client.
A truly valuable day packed full of learning, sharing and (re)connecting with colleagues.
